本連載「RFIDの基礎と最新動向」では、2006年から各種産業分野で本格的な運用事例が目立ちはじめたRFIDの基礎から応用例、最新動向までを取り扱います。第10回目は、異なる3種類のコード体系が記録されたRFIDタグを、混在して利用できるプラットフォームの実証実験プロジェクトをレポートします。
複数コードの混在運用を目指した経産省の実証実験
このプロジェクトは、経済産業省 「平成18年度エネルギー使用合理化電子タグシステム開発調査事業」（電子タグ実証実験事業）のテーマ2「マルチコード相互運用プロジェクト」として、Auto-IDラボ・ジャパン、ユビキタスIDセンター、日本ユニシスの3者により行われました。
