Green RFID Guy: Steel: “Just Say No to Copper”

I stumbled across this article from GovExec.com from last fall. Another matter of contaminating recyclables.

The U.S. steel industry warns that proliferation of copper RFID antennas would be devastating for scrap steel recycling (and the steel industry in general). However, aluminum antennas are ok.
